It is most definately worth the purchase and it will be a stable piece of equipment in my kitchen for years to come. It did very very well as mixing a rather sticky gingerbread mix and I was impressed. It has a great ergonomical design, it feels light to hold and yet solid too as well as being very comfortable. The buttons are sleek and easy to use, especially if you've got messy hands. The blender came with some initial charge but I decided to charge up fully and I was impressed at how quickly it did charge. Despite the look not mattering much to myself, I must say it looks fantasic in our kitchen. The boxing is really minimal and sleek, revealing a very aesthetically pleasing hand blender.
